Cheltenham up to £29k doe

Our well established client has an Internal Sales vacancy to join their rapidly growing business based at Head Office in Cheltenham. This role is full time, permanent and in return, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £24,000 – £29,000 (DOE) + bonuses + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + pension (when eligible). Hours are full time- Monday – Thursday 8.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 2.00pm.  

About the role

As the Internal Sales person you will be helping to provide excellent service to customers through the sale of goods across the product range. You will be required to provide an efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, in turn building a rapport and credibility with customers.

Key responsibilities

·         Processing and raising purchase orders / quotations based on customer requests and enquiries in a timely manner.

·         Liaise with management on all bespoke requests sourcing prices for products and delivery from suppliers.

·         Receive all incoming orders and technical enquiries via email and telephone.

·         Engage with other departments such as production & despatch.

·         Follow up all open quotations to maximise sales revenue.

·         Accurately keep records of all dialogue with customers.

·         Maximise sales revenue with existing customer base.

·         Proactively source new customers building your own customer portfolio

Your Skills & Attributes

·         Valid UK driving licence

·         Experience of working in an industrial / engineering / sales environment.

·         Knowledge of Sage version 50 essential.

·         Proven tack record in generating new customer leads.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office.

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Excellent organisational skills.

·         Be highly motivated and customer driven.

·         Ability to work to deadlines and targets.
