Temp vs Perm

Are you thinking of taking on new or additional staff?   
Well, congratulations you have found First Choice Recruitment Services – a professional, reliable agency built on quality and integrity, who genuinely care about recruitment and how it is managed.  We believe in complete honesty and transparency in the recruitment process and have achieved a great reputation for placing the right candidates which has led to repeat business and referrals within the business community.
If you have never used an Agency before you may like to consider your options; please find below is a summary of recruitment choices:.


You instruct First Choice Recruitment Services to introduce a suitable candidate to you and you pay an introduction fee upon the successful commencement of that person; charged as a percentage of the first year's annual salary.  
For this fee, First Choice Recruitment Services will liaise fully with you to ensure we are working to your requirements at all times, we advertise the role, screen CV’s, handle enquiries  and undertake face to face initial interviews with suitable candidates.  If we believe the candidate meets your needs, we will then send you their CV for you to review, arranging interviews or declining candidates at your instruction.  You do not pay anything until you decide to make an offer to your chosen candidate and they have started working for you, and even then First Choice Recruitment Services have a rebate policy, should things not work out as expected (full details outlined in our T’s & C’s which will be issued prior to the engagement of our services).  
This option is ideal for expanding your existing Team or replacing a member of your staff.


First Choice Recruitment Services will carefully select for you a suitable candidate by undertaking the same rigorous process outlined as above for permanent recruitment.  We will then put the candidate to work with you as specified but the main difference is that the candidate remains a First Choice Recruitment Service worker and does not go onto your books or payroll.  First Choice Recruitment Services will take responsibility of paying the worker, including employer NI, holiday entitlement and payroll costs.  You are able to hire a Temporary worker for as long or short a time period as you like and length of time can be amended to meet your changing needs.  First Choice Recruitment Services will invoice you weekly for the hours worked at a pre agreed rate.  This option is suitable for handling seasonal peaks, busy periods, specific projects or as staff sickness/holiday cover.

Temp to Perm

Using the same thorough selection process as described above, First Choice Recruitment Services will put the chosen candidate to work with you as a temporary worker through our payroll; invoicing you weekly for their hours, but with the intention that the position will become a permanent role.  As long as you remain happy with the worker provided you take them onto your books and payroll after they have completed 12 weeks and there are no further cost or release fees due. Our fee is built into the hourly charge agreed at the start of the process, allowing ease of budget and the chance to spread the costs.  Temp to perm has become a very popular option as it allows you to recruit permanent staff but you have the chance to “try before you buy” without any obligation.  It is worth pointing out that this option is unlikely to appeal to candidates in permanent employment needing to give notice.
